Rather than create and maintain a list of events, I'd like to suggest piggy-backing on an existing website. Charles Cooper maintains the site himself and it is quite complete. It is a lot of work though so it would be helpful if we referred to his site for upcoming events and forwarded any missing dates to Charles Cooper's Railway Pages.
